This summer, Lowell Instruments moved into offices in the former WEBB Research building at 82 Technology Park Drive in East Falmouth. With other small marine technology businesses in the collaborative style shared workspace, the new location provides a base for Lowell Instruments to expand and continue to grow its line of products from tilt current meters to the On Deck, Internet of Things fishing systems.
“We are really excited to be in a new workspace with a terrific history of product development and innovation. The new space can grow with us as our business expands. The facility will allow us to widen our footprint within the building as we hire new employees and increase our product offering and markets”, said Nick Lowell, President & Founder.
Lowell Instruments has a low-cost line of water current meters that are used by researchers all over for its reliable and accurate instrumentation. “The new location is ideal in that while we have customers around the globe it is great to have a place that is central and convenient for the local oceanographic community”, Lowell said.
Integrity Systems, Cape Bioresearch, Inc., Neil Brown Ocean Sensors and JP Analytics, LLC are among the other technology businesses in the building.
