OCEANS’18 MTS/IEEE Kobe / Techno-Ocean 2018!

The theme for OTO’18 has been provisionally set under the wording “Ocean Planet – It’s our home.” The oceans, which cover 70% of the earth’s surface, provide us with a wide variety of gifts including natural resources and energy, and we would like to use the convention to reconsider issues such as natural disasters and environmental concerns from the standpoint of the oceans.

The Kobe Convention Center, which will be the venue for OTO’18, is conveniently located on Port Island, about 10 minutes from downtown Kobe – one of Japan’s foremost tourist destinations. It connects to downtown via an efficient ‘Port Liner’ rail transit system and includes the International Conference Center, International Exhibition Halls, hotels and other key facilities.
