Marine Renewable Energy Conference

You are cordially invited to join us for the third annual Marine Renewable Energy Conference, presented to you by the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, in collaboration with regional and national partners, on Thursday, November 12th from noon to five PM. This iteration of the conference is inspired by the U.S. Department of Energy’s recent publication Powering the Blue Economy, which explores opportunities for marine renewable energy to serve the needs of various maritime markets.  In keeping with the main theme of the event, the keynote address will be delivered by Alejandro Moreno, Director of the U.S. DOE’s Water Power Technology Office.

As the “COVID-edition” of the conference, the event is being held virtually on Zoom, and features thought leaders that bring a local, national, and/or international perspective. Though on Zoom, this will not be a webinar-style conference, and will instead enable participants to interact, if they so wish, whether through Q&A sessions, in a designated networking room, or in one of the “showcase” rooms featuring different providers of research and development infrastructure.
