Current Waves and Turbulence Measurement and Applications IEEE Oceanic Engineering SocietyMarch 10-13, 2019.

We are soliciting the submission of papers on highlighted topic areas that address emerging technologies or issues of timely interest to the oceanographic community. In today’s world, there have been many changes in the science and technology of current, waves and turbulence measurement. Sensors are linked to real-time data telemetry, QA, archiving, processing, and distribution systems and what happens to data in these systems is as important as making good measurements. We continue to encourage technical papers on those topics traditionally covered in previous workshops.

Workshop Theme: CWTMA in the 2020s – Opening with a welcome reception on Sunday night, March 10 at 6:30 pm, on the beautiful beach or a local pub, the Technical Program will begin Monday, March 11 at 8:00 am in the Toucan Room, and wind up on Wednesday, March 13.

Workshop objectives are to provide the ocean community with a forum for technical information exchange and to promote coordination among those concerned with measuring current, waves and turbulence and their applications.
