Are you a business, organization, or institution shaping the water-based Blue Economy? Invest in the workforce of the future by showcasing the work you are doing at WaterWORKS, a hands-on career day connecting high school students to Blue Economy career opportunities in our region.

At WaterWORKS, college-bound, certificate-bound, and workforce-bound high school students will experience first-hand the many Blue Economy jobs and career paths available to them through demonstrations, exhibits, interactive displays, and hands-on activities.

There are opportunities for many different types and sized displays (click the Exhibitor Registration button below or contact us with your ideas). 

Industry Sectors Include:

Fishing ● Research ● Marina Management ● Engineering ● Boat Building & Maintenance ● Aquaculture ● Public Safety ● Transportation ● Ocean Science ● Construction ● Tourism/Recreation ● Advocacy ● Energy ● Environmental ● Climate Adaptation ● Computer Modelling

When:  Tuesday, January 8, 2019 (Snow date January 14th)

Time: 9:30-1:30, Lunch provided

Where: Cape Cod Community College Campus, West Barnstable

Who: High School students in Barnstable, Dukes, Nantucket and Southern Plymouth Counties (invited schools may bring up to 20 students. Event capped at 300 students).

Purpose: To invest in our future workforce by connecting high school students in the region with the water-reliant economy that surrounds them
