Dear Friends,
MOTN has listened to its members ask for more localized and general networking opportunities, and this is the first of at least two: this one just north of Boston and the next one, coming on December 2, will be at the ATMC in Fall River. Please see below for details of MOTN’s next event in Gloucester on the evening of Tuesday, September 29. This free event is a terrific opportunity to re-connect with old friends, make new contacts, be updated about the marine tech industry and institutions in and around Gloucester. You’ll also learn of new opportunities – both close by and overseas – including a briefing by the head of the Maine North Atlantic Development Office (MENADO).
We are grateful to Endicott College’s Rich Weissman for his hospitality in hosting this event and to Tom Daniel of the City of Gloucester for his assistance in helping to bring together the parties to make this happen. We also welcome the continued cooperation and participation of MTS (Marine Technology Society) and AUVSI (Association of Unmanned Vehicle Systems, International).
Please RSVP to info@motn.org as soon as possible so we may have a head count for refreshments, etc.! As always, students, faculty and government folks are very welcome to attend.
Looking forward to seeing you,
Harlan Doliner
MOTN President
