1000-Year Scholarship Fund Hosted by the Society for Underwater Technology in the U.S.

The deadline to submit the 1000-Year Scholarship applications is Thursday October 31, 2019.

The 1000-Year Scholarship offers sponsorships awards to undergraduate or graduate students pursuing a course of studies which highlight at least one relevant component area of marine meteorology and physical oceanography.

Gather the essential requirements:

  1. Download the ‘Application Form’ found on the scholarship page
  2. Request an official electronic transcript from your university
  3. Find three recommenders (one of these should be a professor from your university or college)
  4. Write a 500-1000 word typewritten career goals essay
